The Trees for Trash program collected 15,000 MORE Eco-bricks (7.5 tons of waste plastic)

“In the month of June, the Trees for Trash program collected 15,000 MORE Eco-bricks. That equates to 7.5 tons of waste plastic collected by about 1,200 students in only 4 schools. In this new program, every school with 300-500 students can pull down over 1,000 tons of carbon from the atmosphere with 5,000 trees planted from the MORE nursery. And they clean up tons of single-use waste plastic. All of this is accomplished with used athletic shoes.”
